I believe we need to start and approach the reading of this book with many questions. What are you passionate about? What do you care about? How deeply can you Love? Who are you? What is the state of your heart? You see I believe that the state of our heart defines who we really are. I believe that many people have buried away, locked up, and hidden their hurt, pain, and rejection to the point that they really do not know who they are anymore.

We have a physical heart that pumps our blood, feeds our body and organs, and cleanses our systems of all impurities. We are all so concerned about the function of our physical heart. We continually check our pulse, our blood pressure, cholesterol, and anything else that may inhibit its function. We watch the things we eat and the amount of exercise that we need. All of the above things are good and should be done and monitored regularly. The Bible says we are the temple of God. (1 Corinthians 3:16) The Bible says that bodily exercise does profit us some. (1 Tim 4:8) We all feel that we should take care of ourselves. That is good, but we also know that this body will eventually grow old and fail. It will eventually die. You see we are a three part being. We have a spirit inside of us (heart), and a soul (mind) and we live in a body. Our body is referred to as a temple of God and also as a “tent” or “vessel” that houses the spirit or the real person we are. In truth, the heart is the “House for the Spirit”. The body or the flesh is the container that contains the soul and the heart. The flesh is selfish and prideful. The flesh is carnal and cries out for carnal things. It cries for food, then more food; it cries for sex, and more sex; it cries for comfort, sleep, and entertainment. The heart cries for God, and more God; the heart cries to be helpful to others; the heart cries to love, not just to be loved; the heart cries to serve, not just to be served. The person inside each and every one of us is our true self. (II Cor 4:16) There are many times I myself have looked into a mirror and asked the question; who am I?
In the dictionary, the word prosperous means to be made complete. I am writing this book to help the people of God and his Church to be made prosperous, to be complete, and to be fulfilled. To better explain this principle, In the Book of Luke; Chapter 8: 43-48, There was a woman with an issue of blood. She had this problem with an issue of blood and infirmity of twelve years. This infirmity not only made her sick and dependent on others, but also took away all her living.
NOW FREE! The statements and commands of Jesus concerning the Great Commission are primarily found in Matthew 28:18-20 and the gospel of Mark 16:15-18. In Matthew 28, they are; “All power (authority) is given me in Heaven and in the earth.” (18) “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” (19) “Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and I am with you always.” (20) Mark 16 confirms this and also expands on it; “Go ye into the entire world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (15) “He (she) that
believes and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believes not shall be damned.” (16) “These signs shall follow them that believe, in my name, they shall cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them, and they shall lay their hands on the sick and they will recover.” (18) I named this book the “Mission of the Great Commission”. I am sure that there are many who will say that this really is not the Great Commission. The Great Commission is about making disciples and baptizing them as stated above in the Gospel of Matthew and Mark. I am not denying that we need to make disciples. But you cannot make disciples unless you first lead someone to the faith. The definition of preach in the dictionary is defined as announcing. We are instructed to announce and proclaim our faith. We are not to force our faith to anyone, not unlike many other forms of religions. The Lord still relishes the freedom of choice. We are to respect this choice. The Lord would rather someone would freely choose to follow his ways and word. I would agree that baptism would be the next step after being lead to the Lord and receiving his free gift of salvation. Baptism is the open testimony of the inward manifestation of a new life. Baptism signifies the death of our old way, life and nature, to a resurrected new life and way in Jesus Christ. After the creation of the earth in Genesis, God created man. He created Man in his own image. God had a personal fellowship with men and he would walk, and talk with them in the garden daily until man sinned against God. This sin separated a Holy God from a sinful man. From Genesis to Revelation, Our Father God has and is doing everything to restore a relationship and communion between him and mankind.
One of the main sources of that communication is prayer. No matter how many different religions and denominations, no matter what our theological view points are, the common denominator that helps keep us all unified is prayer. We pray in all manner and places. We pray as a corporate body together, with our friends and in small groups. We pray lifting hands, on our knees, and even humbled lying down. We pray in our churches, our homes, at work and everywhere we may be. The Bible says to pray without ceasing and to pray and give thanks always in all things. I feel the Lord is calling his children to a greater level of prayer. I believe even more that the Lord is calling us to a greater intimate one on one prayer.
